BABIY KECAP

Ok! This is the third dish!My mom really wants me to inherit her cooking skill I think..hehe..
She said not many people able to make this dish, as they are afraid the many steps they have to get through to get the dish on their table. INDEED they are rightt!
It's not my cup of tea actually, but there's nothing wrong on learning something special right? =)

Ingredients :
- The longest pork fat you can get out of the market
- Salted vegie
- Mushroom
- Pork fillet
- 10 garlics
- Cooking wine, about 10 spoons
- Salt
- Soy sauce
- Broth powder

How to cook :

- Cut the pork fat into fry-able pieces. Get some holes into the skin to get bubbly surface.
- Deep fry them. (Watch the oil cause it will doubled up in minutes-->scaryy)
- After it's brown already, soak them in tea water so they will bloom a bit.

In other pot,
- Get the onions into the oil until they have browned.
- Put in the pork fillet, close the pot, then put in the mushroom and cooking wine, then close the pot so the fragrance will come out.
- Put in the salted vegie, and soy sauce, close the pot
- Put in broth powder, the already cut pork-fat and put some more soysauce.
- Close the pot in medium fire, check2.
- After the water drains out, put in some water.
Then boil it...

BABIY MERAH

As this is my "accidentally" day-off from the office. Here is my mom's other dish. Of course she asked me to do all the step by myself. Unfortunately, it didnt turn out pretty well. I over burnt it..nyeeahh..=(

BOLA-BOLA BUMBU KECAP

So, this is a series about mom's home cooking. The first one is this meatball with bumbu semur. Thinking about making subway out of this meatball =)

Ingredients:
- Shallots
- Onion
- 1 tsp coriander
- Salt
- Jeruk limau 4-5

How to cook :
Grind them altogether, and saute them until the fragrance comes out. Put sweet soy-sauce, wait until it's boiled. Then, put all the meat.
If it's not sweet enough, add brown sugar. Taste accordingly.

I MISS BAKING PASTRIES IN MELBOURNEE

I found a picture of my customized picnic roll which I often made back in Melbourne.
I put sausages, mayo, spinach, cheese, boiled egg, and chili sauce.
Never found the same pastry sheet here, and if there is some in the supermarket, the price is so crazy.
It's like 5 times more expensive than in Melbourne.

To Aldrich, who loved my baked pastry so much and his mom, whom is said to admire my pastry..haha

I got the photo for you..=)
